Sustainabile Manufacturing

Among the many reasons to love a Harrison Spinks bed is their efforts to continually reduce their impact on the environment. Their commitment to protecting the environment is world-leading. They have been recognized with not one, but two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in Sustainable Development. They even have a Carbon Neutral+ accreditation—the first bed manufacturer in the UK to hold this title. In the coming years they have plans to continue to reduce carbon emissions and increase carbon capture.

Foam Free

Foam is unable to be recycled. Designed in house; Harrison Spinks’ 100% recyclable, glue free Micro springs replace the need for foam. Highly flexible these springs relieve pressure, helping to keep your spine in perfect alignment.
Glue Free

Harrison Spinks is the UK first bed manufacturer to develop a glue-free core spring system. Their ground breaking, patented pocket springs are a new dawn for comfort technology, offering superior comfort.
Chemical Free

Harrison Spinks weaves their own chemical free mattress fabric in-house; combining traditional methods with state-of-the-art weaving looms, creating a breathable and FR chemical free sleeping surface.
Growing the Movement

All of the wood used in Harrison Spinks headboards and divans is sourced from sustainably managed forests that are FSC® certified. This includes wood from their own 56-acre, responsibly managed woodland in North Yorkshire.
Recyclable Beds & Packaging

Harrison Spinks owns their very own recycling center where they recycle all their mattresses to reduce additions to landfills. Additionally, they are on track to have 100% recyclable packaging by the end of 2022.

These beds don’t start in a factory but on the Harrison Spinks 300 acre farm in North Yorkshire. Harrison Spinks uses natural products that have zero chemicals, meaning their beds are 100% recyclable at their end of life cycle. But equally important (because… this is a bed, after all) using the finest natural materials and fibers creates a luxurious, long-lasting, healthy, and uniquely comfortable mattress.

With a unique and ground-breaking spring-within-a-spring design; the outer spring offering a high degree of comfort while the inner spring delivers a supportive second action for variable levels of support.

The development team has created machines that rigorously test every part of the springs to ensure a long life span. Not only do they test the springs, they also test every mattress design to ensure the longevity of the mattress.

Advanced Micro springs

Designed and manufactured in-house with innovative patented technology these 100% recyclable micro springs provide advanced comfort and industry-leading spring counts. Adapting to your body’s contours to relieve pressure and provide greater comfort and lumbar support, these layers of micro springs are a serious game changer.

Why Springs?

To put it simply, more springs mean more support and comfort. Just as you increase the megapixels on your camera or TV to get a cleaner picture, the more tiny springs you have in a mattress the more they contour to your body to relieve pressure.
