Coyuchi was the first to bring organic cotton linens to the market almost thirty years ago, and we continue to champion its benefits today. Not only is organic cotton naturally soft and strong—it’s free from pesticides and harsh chemicals, requires less water and energy to produce than conventional cotton, and contributes to healthier soil. Unfortunately, less than 1% of the world’s cotton is organic and access to this non-GMO seed can be difficult. They’re committed to growing the demand for organic. Their cotton is certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) because it is the highest standard in the world. Every step of the supply chain must be independently certified, from sowing through sewing, and all the way to your door. Coyuchi GOTS certified cotton products cut toxic chemicals out of the equation, keeping workers safe and bringing out the natural comfort of every yarn, weave, and finish we select.

Organic Crinkled Percale

To create their softest, most relaxed percale yet, Coyuchi took pure organic cotton and applied proprietary spinning and weaving to create a washed fabric with a lightly crinkled effect all over. The result is what may be our favorite sheeting yet: breathable, comfortable, beautifully rumpled sheets that wash and wear well over time. Exclusive to Coyuchi, the fabric is perfectly broken in right out of the box and just right for every season.

Care Instructions: All Coyuchi organic cotton products are machine washable. We recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, with cold water and a natural, plant based laundry detergent. We do not recommend using whiteners, as bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colors; when needed, use only non-chlorine bleach. Line dry, or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. Place a set of wool dryer balls inside the dryer to naturally soften the fabric and reduce drying time. Use a warm iron as needed.

Reyes Organic Waffle Blanket

The Reyes reimagines the waffle blanket, mixing fine and large waffle patterns with unique variations in texture, which provide warmth without weight. Coyuchi has worked with their partners in Portugal to develop this original multi-waffle weave, which embraces the randomness of the rock patterns along the Point Reyes shore. Product dyed and washed for softness. Trimmed with a wide, flat weight canvas hem. 100% organic cotton grown in India and woven in Portugal. GOTS certified.

Pebbled Handstitched Organic Quilt

Inspired by the traditional kantha quilts of India, this quilt is hand embroidered with waves of tiny, contrasting stitches, for great texture and color from end to end. The Undyed version uses multi-color thread for vibrant variation. Crafted of soft, breathable organic cotton, inside and out, it's ideal for year-round use – perfect on its own in the warm months and easy to layer with a blanket or duvet for wintry nights. 240 gsm organic cotton batting. 100% organic cotton is grown and woven in India. GOTS certified.

Cascade Organic Matelasse Blanket

Crafted in Portugal from exceptionally fine organic cotton yarns, this matelassé blanket pairs a light, lofty feel with an allover stitched texture inspired by quilted kantha cloth. Stonewashing gives the fabric its soft and plush, pleasingly rumpled hand. The blanket is offered in a range of solid colors and finished with a simple bound edge, for endless versatility and effortless layering. 100% organic cotton is sourced from India and woven in Portugal. GOTS Certified.

Manzanita Organic Handstitched Quilt

Inspired by the sculptural art of basket-weaving, this organic cotton quilt mimics the imperfect, organic curves of nature. Handstitched kantha thread is quilted throughout, creating a reversible product with contrast stitching that stands out against the undyed backing (white is monochrome). Like our crinkled percale fabric, this woven quilt has a relaxed drape that embraces its casual feel with every wash. Mid-weight and perfect for layering, with a simple ½” binding. 240 gsm organic cotton batting. 100% organic cotton is grown + woven in India. GOTS Certified + Fair Trade Certified cotton shell.

Throws

Topanga Organic Matelasse Throw

A soft, rippled texture is woven with colored and undyed yarns to form this featherweight layer. Each Topanga blanket is unique, made with a crinkled finish that creates an airy, pliable shape that will expand and contract over time—much like the waves and breaks along the California coastline that inspired it. The chambray front is backed with a contrasting neutral color on the opposite side. Waved edges are secured with a tiny zigzag stitch to hold the fringe in place. Pattern differs between bed blanket and throw. Throw is a reversible, two-tone chambray detailed with a subtle stripe on each end. 100% organic cotton is grown in India and woven in Portugal. GOTS Certified.

Cirrus Supersoft Organic Cotton Throw

Textural bands cross colored stripes, making this throw as inviting to the eyes as it is to the fingers. Woven of thick organic cotton yarns, brushed for softness, it’s the perfect weight to grace the foot of the bed or the arm of the sofa year round. 100% organic cotton is grown in Turkey and woven in Germany. Sequoia Washable Organic Cotton & Wool Throw

Made from a machine washable blend of organic cotton and organic wool, the Sequoia blanket is a versatile staple you’ll reach for year round. This go-to layer offers the best of both worlds: a soft, cottony feel paired with the warmth of wool. The two fibers are twisted together before weaving to create tonal and textural depth. The fabric is brushed for extra softness and finished with a double needle stitched edge. 70% organic cotton grown in Turkey / 30% organic wool from Argentina. Woven in Germany. GOTS certified. 335 grams per square meter.
